Teams that trust us to deliver
KK IT Solutions felt like an extension of our own team. They shipped our platform in half the time we'd budgeted, and the code quality is the best we've seen from an agency.
Questions we get asked
The things worth knowing before you send an enquiry. If yours isn't here, ask us directly.
How much does a custom web or mobile app cost?
It depends on scope, and any agency that quotes a number before understanding your scope is guessing. Our process is a short discovery call, then a written proposal with a fixed price per phase, so you know the cost of phase one before you commit to it. Smaller engagements — an MVP, a marketing site, one integration — are scoped as a single fixed-price phase. Larger platforms are split into phases you approve one at a time, so you are never signing off on a number that could drift.
How long does a typical project take?
A focused MVP or marketing site is usually 4–8 weeks. A production mobile app with a backend is more often 4–6 months — our BrightLearn app went from idea to both app stores in five. Larger platform work runs longer and is delivered in phases, with something usable at the end of each one rather than a single launch date at the very end. You get a schedule with the proposal, and weekly demos so you can see whether it is holding.
Do you work fixed-price or hourly?
Both, and we will tell you which fits. Fixed price works when the scope is genuinely clear — a defined build, a migration, an integration — and it puts the estimation risk on us. A monthly retainer works better for ongoing product work where priorities change every sprint and a fixed scope would just create change requests. What we avoid is an open-ended hourly arrangement with no ceiling, because it gives you no way to plan.
Who owns the code, and will you sign an NDA?
You own everything — code, designs, infrastructure config, and the accounts they run on. It is your repository and your cloud account from day one, not ours. We are a registered company and sign NDAs and MSAs as a matter of course; send yours over or we can provide a template. We do not reuse client code in other projects, and we will not put your name or logo on our site without written permission.
Can you work with our existing team and codebase?
Yes, and a fair amount of our work is exactly that rather than greenfield builds. That can mean embedding engineers into your sprints, taking ownership of one part of the system while your team owns the rest, or coming in to fix and stabilise something that has become hard to change. We start with a short read-only review so we can tell you honestly what we find — including if the right answer is a smaller intervention than you were expecting.
What happens after launch — do you provide support?
Launch is not the end of the engagement unless you want it to be. Every project hands over with documentation, monitoring and alerting already configured, and CI so your team can deploy without us. From there most clients keep a support arrangement for bug fixes, dependency and security updates, and ongoing feature work. Some hand over completely to an in-house team, which is a fine outcome — we build so that it is possible.
How do you communicate, and what about time zones?
You get a shared Slack channel, a weekly demo of working software, and one named point of contact who actually knows the project. Our team is in Pakistan (UTC+5), which gives a real working overlap with Europe, the UK and the Middle East for most of the day, and morning overlap with the US east coast. We schedule the standing calls in your working hours, not ours.
Can you really build AI features, or is it a thin wrapper?
The distinction matters, so here is what we actually do: retrieval over your own content so answers are grounded in your data rather than a model's guess, an explicit path for the assistant to say it does not know, source citations on every answer, and an evaluation harness so you can measure whether a change made it better. For the Vantage assistant we ran six weeks in shadow mode — answering silently while a human graded every draft — before it spoke to a single customer. That is the part a wrapper skips.
